Putting the County First

I was glad to be able to attend the legislative breakfast Friday at the Wicomico Civic Center. It was extremely informative, and it was hard not to take away from it how imperative it is that our local leaders conduct themselves with respect for one another and for each other's roles.

If I am able to serve the county on the County Council, I will use my voice to ensure that we communicate the concerns facing our county vertically, to the state representatives, and horizontally, to our municipalities' representatives and other counties on the Lower Shore.

In order to achieve solutions for Wicomico, you need people willing to put the county first and work respectfully with all stakeholders.
