Back Out in the Community
This past week I spoke with the Republican Club of Wicomico and got back out in the community knocking on doors. If I end up at yours, I promise to keep it short. I just want the chance to introduce myself, hear what matters to you, and earn your support.
The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce had an incredible day for its Annual Charity Golf Outing on October 2 at Green Hill Country Club. I was glad to be able to connect with so many local business leaders.
Ahead of the Salisbury Planning Commission's October 8 meeting, I encouraged Salisbury residents and stakeholders to weigh in on the proposed rules for vape stores. I am in no way anti-business, but this is a common sense issue that needs citizen input: how far these establishments should be from our schools and parks, and from one another. This isn't a crisis. It's a good example of how the world changes and how our codes and laws need to adapt over time.
